News at the Dell
New Events There are several new events scheduled at the Dell. Have a look at our events page to find out more.
2nd Annual Sleigh and Cutter Rally
The 2nd Annual Sleigh and Cutter Rally held at The Dell Farm was a huge
success! With 9 rally entries and a full day of lessons on Sunday our judge
Julie Dhalberg and her husband Mark from Wisconsin had a busy schedule! The
horses were turned out beautifully and everyone did great. The public got to
partake in free sleigh rides and see everything from miniature horses to
draft horses pulling a variety of rigs. Mark even helped Luke Farmer hook a
tandem with two ponies. The banquet at This Old Barn was wonderful with
great food and company. The winner of the Al Fever Memorial Junior Driving
Award was Page Helget with her leased Pony Jigsaw Puzzle. Come see everyone
and their horses at the Summer Rally later this year! (Date to be announced)
New Riding Ring
This year Towerlight built us a fantastic new riding ring for us to
ride and jump in. It is 120 feet by 250 feet with two natural bank jumps.
It has wonderful sand footing and a raised view of the Northwester
Mountains. We are very grateful to Jeff and the crew at Towerlight for
their wonderful work!
