 Manitoba Royal Winter Fair
The Dell Farm team went to the Winter Fair in Brandon Manitoba at the end of March. Everyone had a great time!
Michelle & Hotshot placed 8th in Hotshots first mini medal jumper class!
Izzy and Fresca placed 2nd and 5th in Jr Low Hunter Classes, 3rd in Equitation B on the flat and 5th in childrens handy hunter
Michelle & Fresca placed placed 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in 0.9 Jumpers
Diane & Chewy placed 5th and 6th in 2'9" baby green hunters!

 February 25
Lakewoods Harness Club Sleigh & Cutter Rally at The Dell Farm
The Sleigh Rally was a huge success this year, growing since last year with a
total of 14 entries for the rally and a sold out banquet in the evening! Our
riders won the following:
Izzabella - 1st place youth reinsmanship
Kelti - 2nd place youth reinsmanship
Jennie - 3rd place youth reinsmanship
Kelti - Best dressed youth driver
Diane - Best dressed female Driver
Lori - Best Pony
Luke - Best Draft Team

 February 18th and 19th
The Dell went to Brandon MB to compete at the Brandon Schooling Show at the Keystone Center.
Saturday:
Keltie and Hotshot took 5th in both their 2' and 2'3" hunter classes, Madison and Jigsaw placed 3rd in Beginner hunter us and 5th in Saddle Pony, Izzy was 2nd in 3' jr. Hunter and 5th in jr. Hunter us. Leila and Hotshot had such a strong 2'9" hunter class they moved up to 3'
Sunday:
Izzy placed 1st in 3' jumpers (out of over thirty people!) And 1st in 3' jr. Hunters, Maddison was 4th in c rider basic seat, Kelti placed 5th in 2' and 4th in 2'3", Leila took 4th in 3' sr. Equitation and Diane has strong clean rounds with Chewy!

 January 28th
The Lakehead University Schooling Show at The Dell Farm was a huge success! Many of TDF riders took home ribbons and prizes and had a great day making memories with friends and family.
Kelti Matson and Meadowlark Hotshot were 2'3" Grand Champions,
Isabella Titterfrante and Miss Frilly Fresca were 2'6" Grand Champions as well as taking 1st place in the 2'6"-2'9" Open Jumper Division,
Diane Ruzycki and Meadowlark Cole were Cross Rail Reserve Champions
Breanna Read and Monty were 2' Reserve Champions.
Sophie, Madison, Brooke, & Nerhys placed well in their flat and hunter over fences classes
And L.U. Rider Jeanna Doherty on Miss Casey Coosaga were Cross Rail Grand Champions.
We are very proud of all our riders, this was a great way to start off the 2012 show season! |
 January 14th
The Dell Farm went to Ashland WI for the Northwoods Harness Club Sleigh & Cutter Rally and won the single draft divison and 3 other drivers took 2nd, 5th, & 6th in the youth reinsmanship class!

 In November The Dell went to the Brandon Keystone Center for a fall schooling show with a string of riders and horses who competed in both hunter and jumper divisions. We came home with many placings and we are very proud of our team!
Leila Farmer with Meadowlark Hotshot placed 6th in 2'9" Open Hunter
Tayna McMaster placed 6th with Miss Casey Coosaga in 2'6" Open Jumper
Isabella Titterfrante with Miss Frilly Fresca placed 1st in 2'6" hunter on the flat, 4th in 2'9" hunter on the flat 3rd in 2'6" jumper stake
Madison Gauthier with Jigsaw Puzzle placed 1st in cross rail with fill stake, and 6th in the open cross rail stake
It was also Kelti Matsons first horse show with Meadowlark Hotshot and they gained many solid miles in the show ring that weekend and we are looking forward to watching this team in the 2012 season! |
