Hay/Sleigh Rides

Located just minutes from the city of Thunder Bay, but with the feeling of being miles away from life, The Dell Farm offers both hay and sleigh rides. TDF is the perfect venue for your unforgettable wedding, proposal, anniversary, party or corporate outing. Our rides travel though our beautiful private trail system overlooking the Norwester Mountains and the Slate River Valley, pulled by majestic teams of Percheron and Belgians. We have something to make every party unique!

Wheels or Runners?

The condition of our trails determines whether or not we use wheels or runners. In order to operate the larger sleigh we need a 6 inch base of packed snow.

Facility

We have a modern chalet with large picture windows looking out into our fields and horse pastures, as well as two large windows looking into our indoor riding arena so you can watch our riding horses at work. Maybe you will even catch some jumping! The facility is complete with a full kitchen and bathroom.

Parking

There is a large parking lot is maintained in all seasons. There are toboggans are provided in the parking lot for transporting food and items to the chalet. If you have elderly or handicapped persons in need of a assistance please let us know at the time of your party booking and we will make accomodations
