Rest for you and your equine partners.

The Dell offers overnighting services for both personal and commercial trailers.  Services include:

Restock on hay ($10/bale for grass, $15/bale for alfalfa) and shavings ($12/per bag) for trailer.

Rig clean out ($100 for semi, $70 for mid size, $ 50 for small size)

Parking for any size rig (included in layover)

Accommodations for drivers ($120 per night)

Help loading/unloading (included in layover)

We have 2 circle turn arounds on property large enough to accommodate a semi truck and 15 horse van so no backing up is required.

On site accommodations is a 2018 39' Arctic Wolf 5th wheel trailer with 2 bedrooms, loft and pull out couch capable of comfortably sleeping 6.  It has a full kitchen, full bathroom, outdoor fire pit, heat and air conditioning.

We started making our place known and available as an overnight rest stop in 2019 when a close friend of ours was killed in a commercial hauling accident.  Kim Elliott would overnight with us when she came through, and we would have long conversations about the dangers of being a commercial hauler both on and off the road.  She was a firm believer that there would be far fewer accidents in her profession if drivers had better access to good accommodation for both them and their horses, making their jobs easier and giving them better opportunities to rest and relax between legs of hauls.  She was always grateful of the 'oasis' we were able to provide for her and her clients horses and was vocal about wishing there were more facility's like The Dell around North America.  Since her death, we have made it our mission to help tired drivers get off the road at a place with a friendly smile, that helps them settle the horses in, and can take care of cleaning and restocking their rig while they get some sleep. Then they can get back on the road well rested and set up for the next leg of their journey.  We think of Kim and Elliott Equine Transport every time we see a rig come and go.  If we can help prevent at least one accident for one driver, we have made a difference in a dangerous industry where the drivers do not get nearly the credit they deserve.

Roll on Kim, we miss you!
